Work can be meaningful—and demanding. High workloads, constant pressure, and ongoing stress can quietly lead to burnout. Research shows one of the most effective ways to prevent burnout is psychological safety: creating workplaces where people feel comfortable speaking up, asking for help, and being honest without fear of blame.

This engaging, interactive workshop explores how psychological safety directly impacts stress, engagement, and overall well-being at work. Participants will examine everyday team and organizational dynamics that either strengthen or weaken psychological safety—and how those dynamics show up in real-world situations. The session focuses on practical, low-cost strategies that participants can use immediately, regardless of role or position, to support healthier, more sustainable workplaces.

By the end of the session, participants will:
• Understand what psychological safety is (and what it is not)
• Recognize how psychologically unsafe environments contribute to burnout
• Know strategies for speaking up, supporting colleagues, and managing workplace stress
• Identify small, realistic actions that can improve team culture and well-being

Designed for employees at all levels, this session emphasizes shared responsibility for building workplaces where people feel supported, valued, and empowered to do their best work without burning out.
