Protecting and Growing Every Gift

The Licking County Foundation holds the charitable endowment for our community in perpetuity, and takes seriously its stewardship responsibility as a manager of these assets contributed over decades.  We also take seriously the trust placed in us with each gift by every single donor.

That’s why in addition to staff expertise, the Finance and Investment Committee of the Governing Committee also acts as a steward for the Foundation’s investments, meeting quarterly and continually monitoring the performance of the Foundation's investment managers, Edward Jones and Park National Bank. Both of our investment managers perform to our standards and are required to adhere to LCF investment policies and benchmarks.

About Our Fees

Administrative fees support the Foundation's work – partnering with our nonprofits, delivering our scholarship programs, administering our grants and capacity building efforts, supporting community initiatives, and caring for our Endowment. There is no fee to establish a fund.

The annual fee is assessed quarterly on the average daily balance of the fund for the previous quarter. Funds may also be charged for direct costs incurred on behalf of a fund, such as appraisal fees, legal fees, and probate costs. Funds also are apportioned a fee by our investment managers.

Please contact giving@thelcfoundation.org with questions or for a current fee schedule.
