Strong grant proposals don’t just describe good programs—they speak the funder’s language. This advanced workshop helps experienced grant writers refine how they match the right message to the right funder. Participants will examine how government, foundation, and corporate funders differ in what they value, how they review proposals, and how funding decisions are made.

The session then moves into application. Participants will learn how to quickly determine whether a funder is a good match, position a program for a specific audience, and adjust language and emphasis to strengthen competitiveness. Attendees will leave with practical techniques they can apply immediately to current and upcoming grant opportunities.

By the end of this training, participants will be able to:
• Identify three key differences in priorities, language, and decision-making across government, foundation, and corporate funders
• Determine whether a specific program aligns with a particular type of funder
• Apply funder-specific framing techniques to adapt one program concept for multiple funding audiences
