What if the resources your nonprofit needs are already in your community?

Your next volunteer, donor, sponsor, partner or new opportunity may already be connected to someone you know. This interactive session will explore how nonprofits can look beyond traditional outreach and make better use of the relationships, resources and organizations already around them.

You’ll learn how to:
• Identify opportunities within your existing network of board members, volunteers, donors, businesses and community partners.
• Collaborate instead of duplicate by sharing resources, audiences, expertise, events and services.
• Create value for others by understanding what potential partners, volunteers, donors and sponsors care about.
• Make stronger asks that are specific, meaningful and easier to say yes to.
• Expand your network by turning one connection into introductions, referrals and new opportunities.

You’ll put these ideas into practice during the session and leave with potential connections to pursue and concrete next steps for turning relationships into resources and collaboration.
