X-WR-CALDESC:Organizations of every kind have struggled with returning to p
re-pandemic levels after losing staff and volunteers during the pandemic.
Licking County Foundation learned from our nonprofits partners that staffi
ng problems are impacting their ability to provide services. No matter wha
t salary level\, many nonprofit employers are finding it hard to attract o
r retain qualified people to help achieve their missions. How can organiza
tions meet their goals and serve the community effectively amid these work
force challenges? \n\nIn response to these concerns\, Licking County Foun
dation is hosting a discussion led by Joan Franks\, Vice President of Huma
n Resources for Matesich Distributing\, on what it means to be in the peop
le business – including employee engagement\, employee value proposition\,
and strategies and tactics to attract new employees. Participants are enc
ouraged to come prepared to share examples of their organization’s current
hiring challenges/successes and future needs\, both to contribute to a ro
bust conversation – and to identify possible topics for future discussions
