The Licking County Foundation approved $531,232 in grants from donor advised and community charitable funds in the first half of 2016 to support 48 nonprofit organizations and charitable causes. These 84 grants were distributed at the suggestion of caring donors to the following organizations:

Donors establish advised funds when they wish to actively participate in the grant activity of the fund. These funds provide flexibility and convenience for a donor’s charitable giving in their community. Donors of advised funds may offer recommendations to the Foundation regarding the recipients and grant amounts from the fund. These recommendations follow certain guidelines and are approved by the Foundation’s Governing Committee.
