The William E. and Annie S. Miller Fund was created in 1988 after the death of Emerson Miller’s wife, Mary McClure Miller. The fund was established to provide medical care for needy children in Licking County.
The Foundation’s Trustees
have determined that the best
administration of the Miller Fund is
to challenge and support the
principal stakeholders in this area
to create solutions that result in
systemic change in our community’s
ability to deliver health care to
needy children. We commissioned a
survey of health care for children
in Licking County as it presently
exists and the report indicated a
number of “gaps” in our community’s
health care delivery system for
needy children and an absence of
care in several other areas.
