Mrs. McCaul's class
came prepared

Fourteen teachers around Licking County were surprised in their classrooms recently by representatives of the Licking County Foundation who presented them with a granite brick symbolizing the 2006 Leaders For Learning Award.
The award was created by the Licking County Foundation in 1993 to honor and recognize teachers throughout the county who exemplify excellence in their fields. The teachers are nominated by their superintendents with input from students, parents and alumni.
The Leaders for Learning Award is a lifetime recognition award. Past and present recipients are eligible to apply for grants to further their professional development or purchase books, equipment or technology for their classrooms.
