PHILANTHROPIC RESOURCES
Licking County Foundation’s funds are limited in relation to the great number of worthwhile grant proposals we receive each year. Below is some information about some funders and other resources that may be of interest to applicants.
THE LINDORF FAMILY FOUNDATION
The mission of the Lindorf Family Foundation is to foster innovation and creativity in meeting community needs, to encourage partnerships among private and public sector organizations, to develop breakthrough ideas that address emerging needs in the 21st Century, to support essential community services, and to develop the next generation of philanthropists. The Foundation, created in 1999, prefers to support organizations that operate within Licking County.
The Lindorf Family Foundation is a supporting organization of the Licking County Foundation and makes grants and gifts only to charitable organizations qualified under Section 501(c)(3), Internal Revenue Code of 1986, as amended.

FOUNDATION DIRECTORY ONLINE
The Foundation Directory Online is a searchable, user-friendly database of nationwide grant opportunities. This database is available (free of charge) at the downtown Newark Library to help area nonprofits identify appropriate fudners and develop targeted proposals. Call the Library at 740-349-5500 for more informaiton about this valuable resource.
