Cybersecurity Awareness 101
Is your organization prepared with an effective cybersecurity framework to address growing risks? Area nonprofit organizations are invited to join the Licking County Foundation, the United Way of Licking County and Maloney + Novotny LLC as we examine the critical importance of cybersecurity on Wednesday, April 19, 2017 from 9:00 am to 10:30 am at TrueCore Federal Credit Union Board Room (215 Deo Drive, Newark).
Dale A. Dresch, IT Audit Manager at Maloney + Novotny LLC, will address the variety of risks introduced into operating systems as organizations grow their integration and reliance on information technology. He will focus on cybersecurity as it relates to nonprofit organizations, and the workshop’s topics will cover:
- What are the threats?
- How do they get into our systems?
- How can you prevent it?
- What to do if you have been breached?
