The Community Charitable Fund (CCF)
was started in the mid 1990’s as one
means of helping donors
achieve
their philanthropic goals. The
idea was quite simple. A donor
makes a contribution of at least
$1000 then suggests charitable
distributions to qualified recipient
organizations at various times
throughout the year.
CCF accounts do not pay
administration fees nor do they
produce earnings. The cost of
administering
the Community
Charitable Fund is paid by the
fund’s earnings. Any excess
earnings are awarded as
grants to
worthy applicants selected by the
Licking County Foundation Governing
Committee.
The only costs to a CCF account are those required to
liquidate any non-cash contributions
such as
stocks or certain bonds.
Donors wishing to establish a CCF
account must contact the Licking
County Foundation prior to
making a CCF contribution.
