FOUNDATION PRESENTS 2008 LEADERS FOR LEARNING AWARDS

Fourteen teachers around Licking County were surprised in their classrooms by representatives of the Licking County Foundation who presented them with a hand-blown glass apple symbolizing the 2008 Leaders For Learning Award.

The award was created by the Licking County Foundation in 1993 to honor and recognize teachers at public schools throughout the county who exemplify excellence in their fields. The teachers are nominated by their superintendents with input from students, parents and alumni.
