Central Ohio Technical College and OSU-Newark Scholarships

 In order to be considered for any of the following scholarships, you must attend the specific school named in the criteria. 

There is only one application form.  If you qualify, you may be considered for more than one scholarship; however, in most cases, only one scholarship will be awarded per student.  Unless otherwise noted, scholarships are non-renewable.  Some scholarships allow previous recipients to reapply. 

BUSINESS TECHNOLOGIES

DOROTHY AND KAY KLINEMAN SCHOLARSHIP

Available to high school seniors, who are Licking County residents, pursuing any type of continuing education that includes the field of  retailing at Central Ohio Technical College or OSU-Newark.  This could include, but is not limited to, business, sales, retail management, retail distribution or fashion design.  Eligible students must have maintained a 2.8 GPA or above during senior year.

ENGINEERING TECHNOLOGIES

 FRANK. L. BOYLAN SCHOLARSHIP

Available to graduating seniors, who are residents of Licking County, pursuing a career in engineering at Central Ohio Technical College.  Eligible students must have maintained a 2.5 GPA or above during senior year.

HEALTH TECHNOLOGIES

GRACE DILS SCHOLARSHIP

Available to Licking County high school seniors pursuing a career in nursing at Central Ohio Technical College.

PUBLIC SERVICE TECHNOLOGIES

DUPLER BROTHERS LAW ENFORCEMENT SCHOLARSHIP

Available to high school seniors accepted into, or qualified students currently enrolled at COTC in, a law enforcement program.  Previous recipients may reapply.

ANY AREA OF STUDY

MONT VERNON, NEW HAMPSHIRE SCHOLARSHIP

Preference given to students attending  Denison University, The Ohio State University at Newark, or Central Ohio Technical College.  Applicants must have proven scholastic ability and financial need. 

NANCY SCHALLER SCHOLARSHIP

Available to seniors graduating from Lakewood High School, who are attending Ohio State University Newark Campus. Applicants must have at least a 3.2 GPA.

The following scholarships are also Licking County Foundation scholarships for students attending either Central Ohio Technical College or Ohio State University - Newark Campus.  Recipients for these scholarships are selected by the Financial Aid Office at the Newark Campus, and not through the Foundation's scholarship process.

COTC:  Feil Scholarships, James T. Pyle Scholarship, Everett D. Reese Scholarship

OSUN:  Pastorius Battat Scholarship, Norman and Alethea Sleight Scholarship
