Our
mission to improve the quality of
life in Licking County is furthered
by these kind donors whose
generosity helps strengthen many
facets of life throughout the
community—including arts and
culture, civic affairs and community
development, health and human
services, parks and recreation, and
education.

In 2008, the
Foundation gave $232,990 in
competitive grant awards through
discretionary (unrestricted and
field of interest) funds to
nonprofits that address the
community’s ongoing and
ever-changing needs.
Through
the generosity and foresight of our
caring donors, the Licking County
Foundation continues to support
important causes in our area with
grant awards of $232,763 to date in
2009.

PROCESS
Licking
County
Foundation is committed to making
the grant application process as
simple and effective as possible for
nonprofits.
The information provided
through the application process
helps the Foundation make sound
decisions based on its mission, the
directives of donors, and the
Foundation’s goal to provide
effective assistance to as many
organizations as possible.
To apply for funding, non-profits

Grant Inquiry Form

completed Grant Inquiry Form should
be e-mailed to Karen Jones,
Program Officer at
karen@thelcfoundation.org.
Once the form has been received,
Karen will e-mail you the
appropriate grant application.

APPLICATION DEADLINE
The deadline for 2011
is 5:00pm on September 1, 2010.
Applications will not be accepted
prior to August 1, 2010
Grant Inquiry Forms may be submitted
at anytime, but cutoff for
submitting Grant Inquiry Forms for
this grant cycle will be Friday,
August 27th.
EMERGING
AND EMERGENCY NEEDS GRANTS
There is no emerging and
emergency needs funding available at
this time. Applications will
be considered for our normal grant
cycle; the deadline is September 1,
2010.
